Replacing Glow Plugs

95 7.3 Was wondering if I have to drain the oil out of the head when changing the glow plugs Like when you pull the injectors?

No when I did it I have a piece of like 4-6 inch vacumn tubing and then I had my long socket ready to go.

I had my glowplug open and out of the package. I started at the front as it was my first time. I pulled the gp out, with the final few turns done with the vacumn tubing as the socket hits the rocker arm and went as quick as I could to get the new one in the hole. I did this the entire way and had no problems. Just go quick, but careful to make sure you do not cross thread the gp. Truck fired right up with no problems.

Yeah its not really enough to be an issue if you are pretty quick with the change.
