light problems

last night when i was driving my headlights kept shutting off and turning on randomly but they did it at least once every 10 seconds they would shut off and without me doing anything they would turn themselves back on. i drove all the way home with my 4 ways on which worked with no problems. also my break lights seem to be working as well as turn signals. not sure where to start anyone else ever had this problem or hear of it or know anything about fixing it?

Sounds like your headlight switch is burnt out. It is a common issue with the high volts running through the switch. A new switch as well as a headlight relay harness that removes the strain from the switch is a good fix, as you will not have any issues again with switch burn out as power is drawn straight from battery. It also brightens light too.

Do the parking lights and/or dash illumination lights go off at the same time?
