Check engine and apparently a leak
Ok so here is the deal guys, I just got a 95 powerstroke crew cab and have been having some issues with it. The most recent visit to the shop included replacing the power steering pump, turbo seals, and just an overall check up. The guy said that the engine seemed to be in good shape and the fuel injectors and head gasket are fine. I wanna say maybe two weeks after I got it back from the shop the check engine light would come on for a few seconds when i started it but would then go off within a few seconds. I then noticed I was starting to get stains on my driveway. I checked my engine ,oil and the level was fine and I checked the transmission fluid and it was pretty low so I put some more in. Now the truck wont start after sitting for about 2 days in the cold. There is a lot of what looks like engine oil in the area around the power steering pump, on top of the tranny, driver side frame around the wheel well and the cross member. I havent had the tranny fluid drained yet since i got it so im not sure if dirty tranny fluid would be the culprit but from the amount of leakage its hard to believe it would be engine oil given that my oil level is fine...any thoughts?
