New waterpump, truck now runs hot
I just installed a new waterpump and thermostat in my '97 F-250. Now when driving, the needle on the guage is reading noticeably hotter than with the previous parts. It also fluctuates temp. while at highway speeds. Any ideas?

Yea, Its fully topped off. An air pocket crossed my mind as well, especially since my temp guage fluctuates at highway speeds. Any ideas to bleed the system better?

Where is the normal place for the needle to be on the temp guage during highway driving. Mine is hovers right in the middle of the NORMAL area, used to be right around the "N" in normal.
