My answers - yes I am disconnected but I just did it today so haven't had time to see if any negative results.

My 00 has been without a heater for several years without any issues. My 95 will also be without one whenever I get around to doing efuel.

had mine unpluged on my 95 for 5 years or more now. never had an issue with it. i now have the wire for the heater wired to a relay for my elec fuel system.

Wire is no longer existent in fuel bowl, no problems at all.
