95 7.3 Start/Stop Problem

I have a ‘95 7.3
It starts great in the morning, even in -12° temp, but if I turn it off and try to start it again it cranks but won’t start. It seems like the fuel is not getting to the engine or it is not combusting fast enough to start. If I wait 3-4 hours it will start again. I have only been driving it places where I know it can sit for a while before I head back.
The second problem started this weekend it just died on me while I was driving. The battery light on the dash came on but nothing else. I waited for a number of hours and it started again, drove it for about an hour more and it died again. Got it home now and I’m not driving it again until I get this fixed.
Thanks in advance for any advice!

A lot of times a no start when hot is due to bad Injector Pressure Regulator (IPR) o-rings (about $30 for the o-ring kit). Hot oil will bypass bad o-rings easier than thicker cold oil. The second problem .... hmmmm

Cheers!
