7.3 crank no start.
97 f-350 drw 7.3 128,000miles 5 speed. No cat or muffler, big Donaldson air filter no box T&S 6 position installed about a month ago. Truck ran a little bad the other night had some codes in it wrote them down lost paper like a idiot. Drove the truck the next day for about 6 miles ran fine. Shut it off went to restart would only turn over. Replaced cam sensor did not help. Unplugged icp still no start. Hooked up NGS tester ran injector buzz test all fine. Only code was a p1280 I'm guessing from unplugging the icp. Anyone seen this or have had this happen to them? Any help would be good. I'm thinking maybe the chip? Maybe I didn't clean the prom all the way off?

Does the WTS light come on?
Does the tach move? Any white smoke? Yes, try it without the chip, or with the chip set to stock. |

I have tried it on stock. The tach does not seem to move and the WTS comes on and no white smoke at all. Now I have ran the batteries down playing with it. Have to charge them tomorrow at work and I'll try cranking and monitor some pids on the NGS.

No tach could be bad CPS. Try cranking with no chip at all. The reason is the chip could be making a bad connection.

Yeah I thought it was the cam sensor and it was the first thing I replaced. No change. Last winter I had to disconnect the fuel heater cause it was blowing the IDM fuse so I know that's a non issue this time. I have got to find out soon cause my daily driver Suzuki samurai has no heat and the hard top needs some work. This cold rain in South Carolina sucks with no heat and a leaking top.
