97 psd wont acceleratre

Hey guys just went and fired up my psd. Let it idle for avout 5 minutes and took off. The sucker won't accelerate very well at all I think top speed of 40 mph. Is this the ebpv stuck closed?

Hey gents been doing some reading it appears that this is indeed the ebpv. Just curious as to how I should rectify this issue? I plan on doing the jake mod, but I guess until then I just let it warm up longer. Am also going to plug in my truck because I run EMS and quite often get toned out when its super cold and quick responses are essential.

In other news I found out how K&N dusts a turbo it was filthy as hell even after I cleaned out the box and filter. 6637 mod fixed it right up.

As a temporary fix you can unhook the arm and wire tie it open. Permanent fix is either deleting it or rebuilding it both of which require removing the turbo so you can pull the pedestal.

JSchuricht is right, thats what I did on my 99 for awhile till a deleted mine.....but if you what a Jake, you know I'm sure, that you can use the exsisting hardware and wire a switch to open/close the ebpv.
