Boost gauge fluctuating???

I just installed an autometer boost gauge into my truck and when I get high boost (12-16) the needle will bounce back and forth, I have one in my mustang and it is steady all the way to 23psi, oh by the way I teed off of the map sensor line, I read that on the 6.0 if you reference from there it does the same thing as mine is doin.

You probably need to put a snubber (or a small orifice) in the line. Cheers!

Where does everybody have theirs teed off of? Maybe it is my boost gauge is bad.

Mainly the MAP sensor line for those without intercoolers. Cheers!
