Electrical question
On the alternator the three prong connector that hooks to the voltage regulator has a wire that comes out and plugs into another terminal on the alternator. What is the terminal for? The piece of wire between the two has been spliced and I believe that it wasn't a good one and is causing the warning light to come on.
If I jiggle that wire it will go out. This is on a 3G alternator on my 97 F250 Last edited by OldRedFord4x4; 09-17-2011 at 07:57 PM. |
