Oil dumping in valley

Long story short, my truck was at the mechanic for a long time, getting just about everything replaced including the oil cooler, injectors, glow plugs, harnesses, etc. I also had sent the hpop to terminator to get modded into a 17* hpop and rebuilt. When I got it back, the mechanic stated that he thought the rear main seal was leaking as it was leaking oil. Well, after doing some research on diagnosing the leak, I found that the valley was filled with oil. So cleaned it really well and it seems to be coming from under the hpop. Any idea what it would be? I am afraid the mechanic is not going to cover it even though I think he should and I will have to try to fix it myself. Any how to's that people know of? When I checked the oil, the truck was damn near dry so it must be really dumping. I think my ebpv may be leaking slightly but nowhere near what the hpop is. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Justin

Make sure that the hpop gasket wasn't damaged during installation. Also, be sure the hpop bolts are torqued to spec. Otherwise, start looking for cracks.

check out all of the hpop fittings and the puug on the back of it. also check the back plate on the hpop and see if there is any leaking from there. hpop leaks are kinda difficult to diag at times but if it is leaking enough to drain the pan i would say it should be easy to find. i know its a newly modded pump but mistakes are sometimes made during assembly so dont rule out the fittings just because they are new
