check engine light on?????

ok so heres my problem about three weeks ago i got a 97 powerstroke it has 242500 miles on it and i changed the oil about two weeks ago and i did the fpr bb shim and check engione light came on indicating too high fuel pressure so i removed the bb and about a hundred miles later i noticed it idle fluctuation it was slight the check engine light came on ran fine went right back off now after a few hours sitting its really hard to srtart turns over fine though and finally starts with check engine light on i can unplug icp or the ipr sensors with no change in engine running and light still on any help is greately appreciated

mobil delvac 1300 super and no on additives ran fine first hundred miles or so and the lighjts on and off its off for now but was on two days straighht

There is NO WAY your check engine light came on because of excessive fuel pressure. Your truck doesn't have a fuel pressure sensor, so the ecm has no way of knowing if the fuel pressure is excessive. What code did you get?

it said no codes check engine light on i took it out and light went off two days later was at the creek went to leave and noticed rough idle about that time check engine light came on and went right back off
