1997 psd oil leak

I get a puddle of oil about 3 inches in diameter everytime i drive my truck and let it sit. Its dripping of the bottom of the starter and i can see where its running down the side of the block. what are my possibilities of where its comming from?

The valley of the engine. Get up on top of the engine with a flashlight and start looking for oil/fuel.

its the valve cover gasket on the passenger side. i got in there with a light and i could watch the oil spray out while the truck was running!
