95 7.3 bad oil leak but where from??

ok truck has a bad oil leak but i have no idea where its coming from. There is oil on top of the motor down in the valley and just here and there. There oil mostly on the passenger side underneath. Oil on the pan even the passenger front springs have oil on them. The starter has oil on it. I was first thinking it was the pan or the sealant for the pan leaking but then i was told it could be the hpop or the orings for the hpop leaking. This is my first diesel truck so i dont know much about them. How can i tell where its leaking from. I went to start it the other day but it was so low on oil it wouldnt start the oil was barely touching the stick.

MY 99 F250 IS IN THE SHOP RIGHT NOW GETTING A HPOP PUT ON IT IT COULD BE THE O RINGS OR IT MAY BE THE PUMP CLEAN THE FIRE OUT OF IT OR EVEN JUST WIPE OFF THE PUMP REAL GOOD IF ITS BAD ENOUGH YOU CAN SEE IT COMING OUT.....IF IT IS THE HPOP IT WILL BE COMING OUT OF A ROUND SPOT ON THE BACK WHERE AN O RING IS...THE REASON IT IS GOING TO THE GROUND IS BECAUSE OF A DRAIN HOLE IN THE VALLEY ON THE ENGINE AND IT COMES OUT BY THE STARTER......I HAVE HEARD IT CAN ALSO BE YOUR O RINGS FOR YOUR TURBO PEDASTAL TO CAUSE THIS LEAKE BUT MINE WAS THE HPOP AND IT IS A COMMON PROBLEM I THINK

YEAH IT COMES OUT OF THE DRAIN HOLE ON TOP OF THE ENGINE IN THE VALLEY IT LEADS DOWN NEXT TO THE STARTER....WHEN MINE FIRST MESSED UP I WAS AFRAID OF A PAN GASKET OR SOMETHING MAJOR LIKE REQUIRING SOME ENGINE PULLING

yea cause i was afraid it was the pan or gasket but i talked to a mechanic and he said 8 or 9 times out of 10 its the orings for the hpop. Sometimes it could be the hpop itself but most likely the orings. But either way it all scares me. I cant even start the truck right now cause its so low on oil and im broke so it just sits there

THE WHOLE O RING KIT IS LIKE IN THE 20 BUCKS RANGE FROM FORD HOPEFULLY THATS IT FOR YA....A HPOP IS DEFINATELY NOT A CHEAP FIX....ITS NOT HARD TO REPLCE BUT IT CAN BE TIME CONSUMING IF YOU TR TO GET IN A HURRY...CHANGE THE O RINGS AND YOUR OIL AND KEEP AN EYE ON IT IF ITS JUST THE RINGS THEN YOU SHOULD BE GOOD TO GO
