97 no start

Hey all, i have 97 250 7.3 330,000 miles. drove home from work parked overnight. next morning it started but idled very rough with alot of white smoke. next day started could keep it running with throttle but no idle now nothing sounds like it wants to run as long as you keep starter engaged. still smoking heavily all wiring looks good got some oil in plug at valve cover cleaned them out still nothing. has new cps in it think it might be from the 99 era though. p/n 1876736c91 is what int. dealer sold me part numbers changed half dozen times. any suggestions

Have you replaced injectors in the past 6-9months? Sounds like someone over tightened the injector hold down bolt and will cause the copper washer to squash out and tear allowing the injector to move around. Symptoms are ALOT of white smoke, rough no idle, seems like the trucks gonna blow up lol. Seen it more times then you would think!

Has he ever done o-rings on the injectors? It sounds to me like you'll be needing injectors. While cranking do you hear them dry firing/clicking??
