7.3 power stroke problems need help asap

i got a 96 f350 it will run great about 10 miles then acts like it runs out of fuel it starts but cuts back off i can let it sit awhile it fire up run again i have replace fuel pump clean reg screen and put new icp on it still the same i let it run 2 hours the other day in my yard with hood up ran great but it was idleing any help thank you and have a blessed day
and i put a new cps on it it wont even hit put old one on if started but after i drove it about 6 miles same thing im at a dead end need help this is my dd thank you god bless

Check your wiring connections, how much fuel do you have in it? You could have air in your line but it sounds a little further than that. So you're saying it idles fine but doesnt run good when driving and that it shuts off?

yea well now once it gets hot it cuts off wont start until it gets cool half a tank in 1 tank 1/4 in the other

How hot does it get and how long does it take? Check your oil level too, make sure it is not too low or too high.

oil ok i let it run in the yard about 45 min this morning got in it moved it about 200yds it died it geta about 180-190 i guess all i got id the needle

Well here's one scenario. If you were running off the tank with 1/4 in it then you could have sucked some air in the line. To fix this i've had to fill the tank up and run the truck a little then just rev it up real good and force the fuel in there to get rid of the air pocket.

If your oil is good then I would make sure the quality of the oil is good too.
