starting problem
i have a 95 f250 powerstroke diesel, and it has a starting problem when i go to start it the starter just clicks once, like the starter gear is stuck on the flywheel, i replaced the satrter solenoid but that didnt help at all, it only acts up every once in a while, but when it does i have to use a screw driver and cross the terminals on the starter to start it, what could be wrong with it?

i fixed it, turns out it was the starter.i put a new starter on it and worked. started up just fine. i went to autozone and the starter was 150 and the core charge was 180. wtf the core was worth more than the damn starter alone lol. owell its fixed now

1) Go to junkyard and buy old starter for $30
2) Buy starter at store including core charge 3) Return junkyard starter for $180 core refund 4) Return new starters after store has sent core back to rebuilder, therefore demand $180 in lieu of core 5) Repeat 6) ???? 7) Profit |
