IDM took a bath
Got up this am and pulled IDM off fender...it took a bath, opened up to find about a pint of water! Any chance it will be ok after drying out?

i ultimately don't know how it will work onced dried. worst case scenario, you need a new one. IDM's at the dealership are about a grand or search in the internet for better $$.

I regularly see IDMs for $100-150 in the classifieds sections of the various diesel forum sites. They're not year- or model-specific like the PCMs, even an SD IDM will work, supposedly. I'd look for one now, while your aquatic one is drying out. Even if it works, for the price it's not bad to have a spare.

Found a 110 on eBay for $140 brand new, the bath killed the other for good. Running great!
