idm bad?

so after all the problems ive and checking everything else im wondering if i have a bad idm. i take it off the fender all looks good from outside. i pop it open nd still all looks good i dont see any resistors burnt or anything that would throw a red flag

is it possible its still bad. can i test it with out using any type of program. if not what types of places can test it and how much should the average charge be

havent found anyone who can test them either, I have same problem. everyone is willing to sell a new reman though. did you test voltage at valve cover connectors center pins with key on? I think it should be around 110v from what I have been told. maybe someone else can verify that. mine has 0v so im pretty sure its shot.

Icp?

Unplug sensor on front of driver side head and see if it starts, CEL will be on but mine fired right up. Almost bought IDM today, glad I didn't.think it is called the icp sensor.

yeah thats the icp i unplugged mine and it do anything to help even put in a new one for good measure

Bummer, I also had harness melted on IPR...had to put a new connector. Wires were melted about 6" back...not sure where my problem really was...good luck...sucks when they don't run, I lost sleep for a couple weeks
