1995 powerstroke smoke out of valve cover

hey guys after i installed my chip and down pipe ive noticed some smoke coming out of my right hand side valve cover at first i thought it was from the down pipe being to close to the fire wall.... im guessing the gasket is toast? im new when it comes to diesels so id thought id ask
