Sputtering with chip on

Hey guys I've got a 96 f350 with 221,000 and the other day I was driveing to work and had my ts chip on 50 hp setting and I noticed that when I would go to pass some one it would sputter like it was missing or not getting enough fuel so I switched it back to stock setting and it runs perfect any ideas?????

IPR?? its demanding to much oil pressure for the system to put out and maybe you-orings are bad causing pressure to bleed out not giving your you full oil pressure
