Having some issues..... No start or crank!
Been reading for about 2 hours on possibilities and can't quite figure this out.
Truck is a '97 Ford F250, Auto just rolled over 180K..
For the last couple weeks the truck has been acting very strange, intermittant times of no power, rough idle and white smoke. After a time the truck would go back to running like normal. Usually about 5 minutes. I wasn't feeling to comfortable driving my truck the 30 miles to work so I've been driving the wifes car and she takes mine to her 1 mile away job. Today she complained that it took forever for the truck to start. Would crank and crank before it turned over. Came home to try and figure out what was wrong and the truck wouldn't start at all. Would barely crank over.
Figured she had just ran the batteries so I charged them up and tried to jump it. Now the truck doesn't crank at all. Just clicks... I'm at a loss completely. I'm heading back out now to check a few more connections but does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
