Weird Electrical issues

So I have been chasing down this problem for many months still getting nowhere. I have a 96 f-250 psd. I would be cruising down the road and the "Wait to Start" light would just randomly come on and the truck will die for a second. Then take my foot off the pedal put it back on and back in business. It was so random there really was no way to diagnose it. It finally got worse where it would do it more. Then the truck would die and the check engine light would be on until you turned the key off and turned it back on. Then it would start and be normal again. It got worse and left me stranded one night. No mater how many times I cycled the key the check engine light would stay on and no "Wait to Start" light and of coarse it wont start. I have replaced, the Valve cover harness on both sides (both banks and the plug on the engine harness), Glow Plugs, New IDM, New PCM, Glow Plug Relay. It starts but does the same cut out thing and eventually dies and wont restart. It does have the Banks Otto Mind on the back of the PCM. Next I am going to remove that and see what happens. Figured I would see if any of you had any ideas other than that. I will be sure to keep you posted.
