7.3 PROGRAMMING ISSUE "HELP!"

Hello there I am new to the forum. I have a 1996 Ford F250 power stroke. I purchased this truck about a year ago. I recently purchased a super chips programmer for the truck. I installed the programmer using the second setting and the truck did not run very well. I then installed the top setting and now the truck runs horrible. The truck had a HYPERTECH STICKER in the door when I purchased it and I am not sure if the truck had any type of programming prior to adding the super chips programmer. Now the super chips programmer will not put my truck back to stock. It keeps giving an error code basically saying I took the truck to the dealer and they returned it to stock. Any ideas??? I have a local guy that will re-flash the computer back to stock for sixty bucks, just hate to throw the money away that I spent on the programmer. Thanks in advance.

Check your PCM to see if it has a chip

Then sell the programmer and get a TS chip with custom tunes..
