94 PSD rough idle

My 94 has just started to idle a little rough. It kinda acts like i have an injector out but if i ile it up to around 1000 rpms it comes out of it. Driving down the road it had all the power and performance that anyone could ask for. I am stumped on what could be causing it to idle rough. Also on cold start ups like on an overnight sit it will smoke when fired up.

Stick or Auto? Also clean the screen on the FPR that may help and change the FF

1000 miles really notice it when i step on the go pedal. ive got 187000 original miles on the truck since 94, I think i might hve a plunger stuck. i hate to drive it because i am afraid of melting a piston.

Have not replaced UVC's but did put in a new set of glowplugs in back in October and did check the UVC's and they checked out ok. But that was back in October. Will check them tho. Simple check overlooked.
