Question Need Advice on DTC P1298

Have a 1994.5 with a slight mis at 1200 rpm or less.
336,000 km (208,000 miles)
No exhaust smoke after 3 or 4 seconds when cold, no smoke when warm.
Starts and drives fine, except the slight mis idling and engaging the clutch from stop.
Autoenginuity displays
DTC tab = P1111 System Pass
KOEO tab = P1298 IDM failure
KOER tab = P1298 IDM failure
Injector Buzz = P1298 IDM failure
Contribution Test = P0269 -Cylinder 3 contribution/balance fault
So is the IDM going bad or is the P0269 fooling the PCM into beliving the IDM is bad?
Do i have 2 problems?

Nope bad IDM Take it out and shake it to see if there is water present. When you get a IDM code it means IDM nothing else I recomend One from Swamps

Would you replace the idm before changing #3 injector? Could the injector be OK and just the idm goofy on #3
Thanks

Yes sir If you get a IDM Code IT is always the IDM. You might have an issue with the injector but you must fix the problem with the IDM first.

Have a rebuilt IDM arriving next week.
Could a tired dual mass flywheel cause a failed Contribution Test = P0269?

Exclamation

Installed the rebuilt IDM from Auto Computer Exchange, today, replacing the old 100A with a 110. This solved the DTC P1298.
Did not notice any change in motor or drivability.
AE still displays Contribution Test = P0269 - Cylinder 3 contribution/balance fault.
So next on the list is changing #3 injector.
