Bad cps?
I have a 96er with about 193k. To my knowledge the cps has never been changed. This evening I was driving up a incline and went to turn. The truck started to hicup, lose a bit of power, and run kinda rough. I slowed down and bit and continued on and it went back to normal. Drove for another 5 miles and it didnt happen again. I was wondering if this could be due to a old/failing cps?

... If anyone wanted to know I fixed the problem. After that night when I went to start the truck it started really rought each time and would mellow out. Pulled the p0344 CPS code from the truck.. Got a new cps from autozone and now the truck is back to normal. Noticed my alternator gauge goes back to normal almost instantly now for some reason..
