Little to no boost?

Ok i have had the truck for some time and untill recently started to put some pennys into her. I have a list of all my mods in sig> when i first got my gauges my boost gauge was defective. So sent it back this weekend finally got the time to put it in. After install took it out for a run and noticed that boost levels where very low. Like only 3-5 pounds. When crusing on freeway at 75mph and 2500 rpm i bearly make over 5 pounds> Does this sound right or do i have a problem with my turbo or leak maybe? any help would be great!
