Please help with truck

I've got a 97 f350 225000 new to me. It was hard starting so i did the glowplugs. injector oring gasket job (300miles ago). Now it smokes embarassingly crazy now until warmed up. And consume massive oil. Questions
1- when i was in there i cleaned all the covers and the valve cover vent real good , am i losing the oil thru the vent?
2-if i messed up my injector install is there a way to figure out which one(s) are leaking?
3-could it be something else?

andy ,Ive got a 95PSDF350.I had some work done on the glowplugs,seems one wasn't tightened down.It ended up shooting half way through the valve cover.Anyway,oil was shooting out of everywhere.Maybe you might be getting some excess pressure in the basement due to loose injector oring glowplug?Just a guess
