water in fuel light????

ok i have a curve ball for you all............ so might water in fuel light comes on when i accelerate........... but when im driving it doesn't. as soon as i step into it the light flickers.... soooooo and ideas

That's what I was thinkin...

Tuning/PCM issue, unless the harness to the sensor is shorting or something.

well i have a fresh PCM im the mail thanks to bill. and i will chace down the wiring in the morning. why do you think its a PCM issue

Improper tuning / bad connections with the PCM will kick lights for no reason. WIF and WTS are the most common.

Usually thought there's other quirky crap associated with it.

And aren't you running manual tunes on an auto PCM?

no i have a manual PCM in the truck. but why is it only coming on while im accelerating?

and it only flickers

I'd guess short.

It's a common ish issue with E99's, and usually associated with something in the chips tuning not liking the PCM code it's mated to. Only reason I'm throwing out the PCM / tuning thing.
