Run codes. Is it only on start up or while your running down the road? Does it crank slow or fast?

its a butterfly that closes off the exhaust to keep the heat in to warm the engine up faster. I gets old and doesnt work right the pigtail is located on the bottom of the turbo intake its a two prong connector i was gonna say that but Mutley beat me to it lol

Could be fuel pump going out or bad fuel filter. Have you checked the codes, fuel PSI or filter?
