It starts, dies; Starts, dies; Starts, dies...
Hello Gents! I bought my first PS (hellz to the yeah), a 97 OBS a little over a month ago and was having some minor cold start problems. When below about 65ish, I have to plug up for the truck to start. I posted in another forum that I was having cold start problems and was instructed I need new GP's on the ole' beast. I also read up and went ahead and replaced the GPR and changed the oil to the Mobile1 5W-30. After the change, the truck will fire right up if it has been plugged in for a while, which before it got to where it wouldnt even start up. But now, it will run for a few minutes, then die. Start right up back up, run for a little bit less, then die. Again, start right back up, run a little bit less then previous, then die. It will continue through this process untill it will just start-die, and then never restart till the next day after it has been plugged up over night. No smoke, no CEL, and the tach moves. Is this still indicitive of bad plugs, or something else? I just need to get it running so I can sell, as I just bought a 95 CC over the weekend. Two trucks in two months, Ive got the fever! Any help is appreciated! Happy New Year!
