If you cant find out what it is or cant afford to fix it, I have used a push start button on my old truck... It is easy and cheap!

when I did mine I just bought a couple feet of red and black wire, some electrical connectors and then the push button switch. You can get the push button switch at any auto store.

I connected the wires to opposite sides of the sylinoid / relay and then ran them through to the cab and connected the switch. You will have to turn the key to the on position and then just hit the button!

Thats right.... just like crossing the points with a screwdriver to start it, except using the 2 wires and a switch so you can do it in the truck.
