Need help!! Possibly bad injector(s)?

This problem just started. So far only happens when the truck sits overnight. I goto crank it up, engine will sputter like it almost starting. Turn key off, ign back on, wait to start light is out...turn key start, sputters a little bit and fires up...plume of blk/gry smoke comes out the exhaust! I'm thinking leaking injector.

Info:
96 5sp
157k with original injectors
mods put on at 153k:
tymar intake
4" turbo back mbrp
TW 6 pos chip

I drive in eco mode 99% of the time. I do not rump on this truck what so ever. I would like to order the injectors tonight, if thats the issue.

more likely leaking injector o-rings than the injectors, is the truck using any oil?

Yea, not to much tho. I also have a rear main seal leak. I did a "buzz" test, all the relays were clicking over. Is the oring itself replaceable? I'm new to diesels, is there a way I can ck to see which cylinder the injector is leaking?

Right now I have the valve covers off, changed fuel filter and syphoned the hpop 1qt and put new rotella T in that...that oil was nasty!

Yes they are like 10 dollars an injector from for you have to pull the injectors out to do them if you pull to check them you might as well replace them

From? What do I need to buy? I bought injectors last night, but I could cancel the order if there is a cheaper way then the $1200 I just paid!

Don't know much about Dorman, but $4.05 per injector:

DORMAN Part # 904206

Rockauto.com

Edit: Actually that looks like all the o-rings for the injector.

do you hear a clicking noise like the injectors dry firing? Most likely will occur when it sits overnight
