Glow plug relay '96 250 7.3

Need to replace my glow plug relay. Looking for a good source to buy and not get raped by the Ford dealer for $160. Don't want a piece of junk either that I'll have to replace in another year. Any good sources out there?

I have a friend that tells me he has to replace his every year... he got tired of going to ford and getting raped, he did some investigating and found that NAPA has a universal glow plug relay for relatively cheap.

Stancor relay

I looked up the Stancor relay. Is the part #802-586-902 a universal relay? Do you know...will it work on my '96 250 7.3?

All the research ive done, the ones who have em like it and has no issues. From what ive gathered is the oem isnt made for 200 amps when this stancor does. But its bigger so some tweaking might need to be done.

I bought one for our 88 idi since it seems to chew up glow plugs and relays. Its going in this week.

I did my stancor a few weeks ago,it is a lot larger,with a new set of glows.I got mine from Allied electric online and if you compare sizes the stancor is much stouter.I expect it will last longer than I will!
