Exhaust

I need a new down pipe. any help on picking out a good one...once i get this new down pipe i can get my delete pipe for the cat and muff on but my downpipe bolts are kinda punky and i was told it could be a mess to try and rig it together. help in finding what i need. my truck is a 96 f350 reg cab auto. help

how do i get this old down pipe off? and i was told i had to lift the cab on my obs? and or beat the firewall out to make the new one fit? what am i getting into?

Cut the old DP in half and work it up through the top. Then take a pry bar or a air hammer and bend the fire wall up( from bottom) and work the top side down and the bottom side slides right up. It might make it easier to cut the firewall seam in two spots to ease bending of the seam. I'll have a write up on it soon i have customers truck I have to do a exhaust install next week.

do you hafta hammer out the firewall like that for a stock down pipe?
