struggles to go up a hill.. HELP

so i have a 97 f350cclb. it has a air filter, ts 6pos chip (i leave it set on 80hp), and full exhaust. my prob is that when i try to go up a hill un loaded just me in the truck itll barley go up it without downshifting, unless im over 60mph. it seems to take hills a lil better when im over 60. but if im under it even the smallest hill with make the truck buck shutter and raddle everything inside the truck. the more you push down on the pedel the worst it is. unless you push down hard enough to have the trans down shift. it has then prob only at lower rpms. any help would be greatly appreciated

i know my oil is good and fuel filter are good. and also everythime i change the fuel filter i clean the fpr screen. alos when it does this its make anywere between 2-8lbs of boost and black smoke comen outta the stack. hope this helps

so after typing all this i went out and disconnected the connector that goes into the valve cover gasket. and wow alota oil came out. i never thought it was thouse cuz there was no oil on the outside. so i disconnected all 4 and cleaned them just to see if it made a differance and wow yes it did. went up a hill doin 50 and she picked up speed nicly up the hill . befor at those speeds it woulda had to down shift to get up it. and also found that one of the clips broke.

If you're only making that much boost then you have a boost leak somewhere too.

oo thats only going up the hill at just enough throttle so it doesnt downshift. if im all the way down on the throttle iv seen as high as 28lbs of boost. but through out tonight it gradualy started to get worse and i pulled a connector agine and its covered with oil so tomarrro im getten new gasket to see if that helps

ok so valve cover gasket didnt do the trick. they help bet still have the bucking probs. buddy came over with a idm and a map sensor and both didnt fix it. the idm did make it idle smother though. ran a buzz and cylinder contribution test and buzz test passed and first contribution test cly.4 failed ran it agine and cyl. 7 failed??? im lost
