95 smelling fuel

when i shut my truck off after driving i smell fuel. Cant see any fuel in th valley of death and dont have any framerail line leaks the only place i can think of is the lift pump. Has anyone had those lines at the back of the heads leak i cant see them to see if they are leaking.

yes they have small square cut seals in the connections and you'll develop a seapaage leak. Also the tin banjo bolt will leak too. Have you changed the fuel filter lately?

bout 3000 miles ago i have seen the lift pumps leak but not the lines behind the heads. Do you have to pull the trans to get to those lines. If so a 30 minute project just turned into 5.

Oh no you can see them just follow the line from the banjo bolt to the back of the heads. Its unlikely that they would leak into the valley but it is a place to look. Also the pet**** for the bowl could leak if you recienty moved it. Unlike the 99-03 trucks where they'll just all of a sudden leak. If seen ones that if you move them once they wont go back all the way and drip fuel.
