NO START '97

hey guys my truck has been sitting for about a week went to start it today and found that the batteries were low so i tried to jump it and could only get it to crank. The tack doesnt move and there is no smoke ? The batteries also will not take charge as of right now both were new as of last year . Any help would be great guys

Put a multimeter on it and try again. How low is your voltage dropping while cranking? You might try temporarily disconnecting the glowplugs while jumping the truck to keep the voltage up.

If your voltage is 10v or above while cranking, try replace the CPS.

i had a spare cps in the glove box so i tried that and bingo fired right up
