Turbo Pedestal Question
I have a 97 obs F350 and i had to pull the turbo because of a serious oil leak. When i got the turbo off i noticed it didn't have any kind of clamp holding down the EBPV solenoid. Is this standard on F series? When i went to get parts to rebuild the EPBV actuator the print out from the parts guy showed a hold down clamp but we weren't quite sure if it was for E series of F series. Also the print out didn't even have a ford number for it, only a Navistar number. So basically does a 1997 F350 have a clamp for the EBPV actuator solenoid or no? thanks

No, not that i'm aware of E series only. Do you need the EBPV where you live?

I guess i don't need it but i use it as an exhaust brake. I just threw one on there, i cant see that it would hurt anything so i just put it on there for good measure. Thanks
