cps = cam position sensor
that sounds like it could be your problem. might as well go ahead and swap it

Sometimes mine will just shut off while running at idle, but it will start back up. Everything fuel filters is all clean or new. Havent figured this out yet what it could be. Mine is a 97 5 speed 2wd dually.

I hv a 95 350. I hv replaced cps several times. some work some don't. make sure u get the correct one. find a international truck dealer to get correct one and make sure u shim the sensor.

i dont think they were ... the wait to start light was off so i dont know? ... and there were a certain few motors with a set of serial numbers that had a larger gap between the sensor and stator ring...these require shimming...ill get those part numbers for you tomorrow when i have access to all data again...on mine when the sensor went out i just plugged the new one in and it worked fine
