o-ring q's

my brother is driving my '96 and called and said that it is in need of o-rings for the oil lines that run under the valve covers. says it is a high pressure line. and the injectors. i already got the injector rings, but i need to know what the line is called so i can get the o-rings for it. any help would be great

High pressure oil line is what it's called and they are a pain to get into that little hole. You had better have a dental pick to remove it and I used a pencil and back of a drill bit to fish the new one in. To remove the line from the head pry the plastic collar down with a screw driver and pull the line off a bit like an air line. Then remove the fitting from the head so you can work on the O-ring inside.

On both of mine the plug in the back of the pump (HPOP) has failed multiple times so be sure you check it with a light and mirror or just replace it also.
You can get the O-rings at Ford or IH dealers but the link below is the best place to get the O-rings.
