How do I know if I have a bad injector? Starts good, idles good, running 60-70 smooth, but when I hit the throttle feels like a spark plug miss, not huge just noticeable. 175,000 on injectors.
First, check your oil level and does it need to be changed? Do you have any of the popular diagnostic apps; ForScan, Torque Pro & etc..? You could do a cct and buzz test. You could also use Torque to check your HPOP pressure and IPR %. Another option would be to ohm out your harness at the IDM plug. Do the test procedure on this link.
Get it scanned. I have a lazy injector when cold and either have to fully warm it up or "force" it to work.
Got it scanned and CCT showed #7 bad and it even surges at idle after restarting when it sets for 5-10 minutes and have to force it to work.
