Front axle

95 F250 7.3, ifs\twin i beam, how can I if I have a 3850# or a 4600# axle? Doing ball joints and want to get correct joints, I am looking them up now, there are 2 options for the F250, 3850# or 4600# w\4.10's, I have 3.55's so I am assuming the ifs axles are 3850# and the solid axles are 4600# axles.

It's 4600 lb. The lighter axle went under the small-block trucks.

Easier than I thought. I got the ones for the 4600lb. Fit perfect.

Actually, no. The 3850lb is for the HD D44 that was stopped in 91

I do know there are two options when I looked them up, and they are two different sizes for the different weight axles.

Exactly. There should be no option. The 4600lb axle is ALL THERE IS from 92+ didn't matter is it was a 300 6cyl or the 7.3 diesel. They ALL got the D50 TTB
