Hello all. I just picked up a 1996 OBS 7.3 with a busted TTB. I know the best fix is a dana 60 swap but question is: What years of the TTB will swap right in? is it just 92-97 or can I go back to 87? with it being a diesel. Thank in advance for input.

What part is busted?

I don't know the answer to your question, but possibly someone that has done the D60 swap may have the part you need.

I envy those that know exactly which modification to make and in the most logical of sequences. But not enough to trade for my meanderings and misfires.

1996 F250 crew cab/short bed, 4x4, auto PSD, 6637 air filter, interior grab handles, stainless window vents, remote door locks work with engine running mod.

Some of the 3/4 ttb are a lighter duty. Smaller wheel bearing and ball joints. I think as long as you stay away from that one you should be fine.

1996 F250 crew cab. Hypermax intercooler, Gearhead tunes, 4" exhaust, 6637 intake, Autometer gauges, Dana 60, 6.0 cooling fan, Built e40d, Firestone airbags, Full Force stage ones more to come. SOLD

2003 7.3 F250 Lariat. Mostly stock.

Around 94-95 the calipers changed from pins to bolts but you can swap your existing knuckle over. Otherwise the 92-97 with the correct gears would be fine.
