Noise problem after throwout and pilot bearing install
My throwout bearing grenaded. Had a guy put all new bearings in it. Said pressure plate, clutch and everything else looke like new. Picked it up and started to make a noise like a belt squeakin. I have a little play at top of clutch and when I barely push it in it quits. I called him and he said drive it for a week and the play should come out of the clutch pedal and the noise should stop. Does this sound right to any of you?
