Break issue
Yesterday was not pleasing but I survived. My 97 F350's breaks went out on me. Need help diagnosing
Symptoms: 1) hard/stiff break pedal 2) slow breaking Observation: 1) vacuum pump has no seen damage/ or making weird sounds 2) hoses look fine from vacuum pump 3) one week prior sounded like left caliper was hung Notes: 1) vacuum pump was replaced in December |

Do your HVAC controls work?
Try pulling the vacuum line off the pump and start the truck. See if there's vacuum right at the pump. If there is, put that line back on and pull the vacuum line off the brake booster (leave the little check valve on the booster) See if there's vacuum there. |

Re: Break issue
HVAC has not worked over 2 years. My vacuum pump has a lifetime warrantee so I got it replaced. Have not put back together yet.
