so stupid, broke my d60

Hey guys, long story short is that i needed new universals, and I put to much stress on my front end helping a friend out.

Broke my front axle and the thing it connect to (spindle?) so I need those new parts. What will work? what do i need to look for?

I'm afraid these are hard to find parts and I just cost myself some money.

its broke the ends of the axle off and the ends of the spindle off, where the u joint hooks them together, they are now not circles, they are "U"'s.

thanks for any help guys, in a bit of a bind..need to plow when we get snow. and Im currently 2wd lol.

A picture would really help. I can't quite figure out what you broke from the desctiption. The spindles are connected to the knuckle, the shafts pass through both, is suspended by a few bearings and connects on one end to the carrier, the other end to the lockout. The hub spins around the spindle and the lockout connects the shaft to the hub. The balljoint OBS axles are 92-97, 85-91 is king pin and a different length.

If it is the shafts, it might be a good time to upgrade to 35 spline stubs. They won't cost too much more than 30 spline assuming you compare similar shafts but you will need new lockouts.

After looking around I think its called inner and out axle, its just the short axle on the other side of the universal, I found a guy on ebay selling one cheap, for everything.

92-97 is a different length axle, thats good to know,

Everything that you probably will need to know is at Pirate4x4.Com - Extreme Four Wheel Drive

Most parts between the Ford, Chevy, and Dodges will interchange.
