rear diff going bad?

been having this problem for a little while now. when I back up, like into a parking space, I get a binding feeling when I left off the throttle. I believe it's coming from the rear but not 100%. and now recently I've been feeling a very slight hesitation when pulling from a red light, like the truck starts moving then I feel the hesitation before I touch the throttle.

I replaced every u joint in the truck. I had a friend back the truck up slowly while I was outside listening and it sounds like the rear. any advice?
