swapped a 1989 sterling into my 1995. now i got no speedo.

hey guys i need some help. i swapped in front and rear diffs out of a 1989 f350 into my 1995 f250. i switched them both because they both had 4:10 gearing and detroit lockers front and back. After driving it down the road i realized that the plug on the rear diff is supposed to run the speedo, odometer etc. transmission shifts crappy now. the 1989 speedo ran off the transfer case. Now what do i do??
any help greatly appericated.

That won't help with his shifting.
The best thing I can think of is take the gearing out of the 89 rear install it in the 95 rear and put the 95 rear back under the truck and chalk it up to lesson learned.

No tone ring will affect shifting your pcm reads speed to modify shift patterns, only thing you can do is install a tone ring IMO
